Elon’s Grok is here. Hey, What’s that? Let’s find out!
Grok is an AI chatbot developed by Elon Musk’s company xAI. It stands out for its wit and “rebellious” conversational style, making it distinct from other generative AI tools.
Grok can access real-time information through the social media platform X. It is designed to answer “spicy” questions that most other AI systems typically reject. Unlike some other chatbots, Grok is less politically correct and offers more candid responses.
One of the most notable improvements in Grok-1.5 is its performance in coding and math-related tasks. In our tests, Grok-1.5 achieved a 50.6% score on the MATH benchmark and a 90% score on the GSM8K benchmark, two math benchmarks covering a wide range of grade school to high school competition problems. Additionally, it scored 74.1% on the HumanEval benchmark, which evaluates code generation and problem-solving abilities.

Grok has several advantages over ChatGPT:
Real-time information: Grok can access real-time data, while ChatGPT cannot.
Wittier and rebellious: Grok’s responses are less conventional and more daring.
Better exam performance: Grok scores higher on exams.
Image processing: ChatGPT can process images, but Grok cannot.
Cost: Grok is available through a Premium+ X subscription at a cost of $16 per month.
Open source: Grok has an open-source version, whereas ChatGPT does not.
Initially, Grok was exclusively accessible to Premium+ users who subscribed to X. However, it has now been made available to Premium subscribers as well. The global rollout includes India and 46 other countries, such as Australia, Canada, Malaysia, and New Zealand.
